Fanny Sheppherd
Prenatal & Postpartum Care
Fanny Sheppherd is a professional birth and postpartum doula. She is a pioneer in the field of newborn care and the founder of Fanny Sheppherd Concierge Doulas. Fanny is well versed in the knowledge of hypnosis, reflexology, cranial-sacral therapy, mid-wife assistance, and assisted as an EMT, giving her all the tools needed to care for a newborn and a birthing mother.
As the years passed, her practice grew until a client suggested for her to pass on her experience and baby whispering tips. In 2006, she joined forces with a midwife to start training doulas to become Newborn Care Specialists; experts in sleep training, breastfeeding support, postpartum care, and proper etiquette to be in clients’ homes. Some may say the concierge of birth services.
Whenever Fanny is not assisting families in getting their little one to sleep, she’s working on ideas to improve her practice or traveling all over the world with her clients, but also likes to slow down and just enjoy a fun game with the grandkids.
